Born in Taiwan & raised in South Africa. The name was founded in July, 2011. ​Kevin Hsu Photography focuses on weddings, engagement, events, birthdays, family portraits, model portraits, food, and design. I aim to use my journalistic talents, technical expertise, and rich experience to capture the special moments of life. From my special background from Asia & traveled several countries.

Photography has been an integral part of my life since I started shooting since I was childhood as a hobby. 14 years ago I pursued my dreams and self-taught photography skill, Ranging from event, birthday, wedding to 60000 capacity stadium concerts, I have been provided with opportunities to create intimate images of people, land, and culture. These images make up a diverse portfolio and unique style of photography.

My passion stems from being creative and artistic. As a child I always wanted to have my own DSLR camera, but I always watched from my dad’s shadow has he clicked away at all our family events. To my surprise on my 21st birthday, one of my gifts was a Nikon D3100. For me it was love at first sight.

The beauty that appears in front of my lens is what brings joy to me having a camera in my hands. It is my way of expressing my feelings through my clients love stories. Photography for me is an artistic journey to capturing that one momentum in time and making it last forever.
